Well I’ve introduced you all to my cats, my bulls, and my chickens, but I’ve left out my beautiful and sweet puppy dog! Lily is her name and riding in the truck is her thing!

The Farmer bought me Lily for my birthday in 2013. It was a HUGE step for our relationship, but I really wanted a dog and didn’t think of anything but wanting one. Once I brought Lily home, I started to get nervous. Holy COW I have a puppy that I have to take care of, teach manners, and potty train. What was I thinking??? I kept looking at her in the backseat of my car and wondering what she was going to turn out like if I was in charge of her future. I really shouldn’t have worried.

Lily is one of the best dogs in the world (in my opinion). She loves to run around the farm, ride in the back of the Farmer’s truck, swim in the ponds, farm right alongside all the Farmer’s brothers (and some of them love her very much!), and licking baby calf’s noses.

She’s a Blue Heeler, Border Collie, and Australian Shepherd mix. She grunts when you pet her head and waves her stubby tail 100 miles per hour. She has the softest ears, most beautiful eyes, and a cute little bark.

Lily will sit, stay, and drool for a treat. I’ve been trying to get her to ‘shake’, but she’s refusing. She’s a little stubborn like her daddy! 😉

I couldn’t imagine my life, relationship with the farmer, or farming without her. She makes every day special and can always make me laugh. There is nothing better than having a puppy to hold on your worst day. A dog to lick your tears away and a canine that is like your child.
