Agriculture Advocacy

Thank You PETA, Anti-GMO, and All Other Anti-Agriculture Groups

I haven’t wrote anything in awhile, but while I was driving the tractor today I realized just how lucky I am to be an advocate for agriculture. And I wouldn’t be able to be such an avid advocate without others who questions what I (and other farmers) do.

So thank you PETA. Thank you all anti-GMO groups. Thank you to everyone who questions agriculture and farmers. Without you I wouldn’t be able to do what I do. I wouldn’t be able to share my passion with the world. I understand you all see things differently than I do, but it makes me work harder to help others understand what happens on the farm.

I love showing pictures of my animals on the farm. I love explaining what I do and why I do it. I love answering questions about my farm.

If it wasn’t for anti-agricultural groups I would have never discovered what I really loved about farming. I wouldn’t have discovered the intricate details of my passion and love for agriculture and what it provides for the world. I always knew that I loved the cows, fresh air, and driving the tractors, but I never felt the passion and drive I do now. If I didn’t have to defend everything I cherish I don’t think I would appreciate it as much.

So thank you to everyone that ask me questions, questions what I do, and why I love it. I love sharing my story and helping others learn about real life on the farm.

  • Hello Kellie and Season’s Greetings. I’ve been following along with your blog for a bit and have a question. I think I saw you mention that you have a miniature Hereford. Did I get that right? If so, how does a miniature Hereford compare in size with a Lowline Angus?

    • I sure do have Miniature Herefords! … They are right along the same size as the Lowline Angus–Just depending on the breeding will get you a smaller or larger Lowline, just like the Herefords! 🙂

      • Thank you very much for your response. I will be looking and the Miniature Herefords, too. Maybe a bull to go with the Lowline Angus cows….
