My Big Secret-Released

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you would have seen my picture of Lily, our puppy, telling you that she has a secret. She couldn’t tell you right away because I wanted to tell you. She had a real hard time keeping it a secret.

So here it goes:

THE FARMER PROPOSED!

I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT!!

So in obvious Farmer fashion he did it in the most perfect way possible.

A few nights ago, on May 7th 2015, it was a gorgeous night on the farm after a beautiful rain storm. I looked out the window and saw some of the cows up close to the house and they were grazing. I told him how pretty the cows looked out there. He agreed and asked if I wanted to go for a walk through them. Obviously I said “YES” and “Let me grab my camera!”. We walked out into the middle of the pasture and I got my camera snapping away. I couldn’t get enough of how pretty the cows were against the green grass and blue sky. Well I took a picture and turned around to tell the Farmer to look at the awesome picture I just took and, to my surprise, he was on one knee. He looked at me with his beautiful big brown eyes and asked me to marry him. I stood there for a minute just staring. I was starstruck. He started laughing and asked if I had an answer. Well my answer was obviously yes!!

He couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day, time, or place. I’ve always dreamed of being proposed to in the pasture with the cows. He even admitted to me that he was hoping my favorite cow was up so that he could put the ring around her neck and/or incorporate her into the proposal. Unfortunately, she was in another part of the pasture, but that didn’t matter. It was beyond perfect.

I’m the happiest girl in the world and am lucky to be blessed with such a wonderful man. He gets me. He laughs with me. He loves cows. He treats me like a princess. He comforts me. He loves me. What more could I want in a man.

Keep following for wedding updates and help. I’m going to need your help!

Have a wonderful evening and remember to never stop dreaming. Sometimes they really do come true. Even if they come in Carhartt jackets, Pioneer hats, and blue jeans.
